# Agencies automations

What Agencies does on its own every day, who receives what and when, and how to stop it, in plain words for the people who run the firm.

Agencies runs one task by itself: the reminder before an agency expires. Nothing else happens without someone clicking.

## Expiry reminder {#expiry-reminder}

- **When:** once a day.
- **What it does:** it looks for the agencies whose **Expiration Date** falls within the number of days set in **Reminder Before**, and e-mails each of them the reminder of the **Reminder Template**.
- **Who receives it:** the principal and the agents of the agency, and its other principals when **Multi Clients** is on in the legal settings.
- **How often for one agency:** once for each expiration date. A renewed agency, with a new expiration date, is reminded again before that new date. An agency that has already expired is not reminded.
- **If the server was stopped:** a reminder missed on its day goes out at the next run, within a week.
- **Where it shows:** the e-mail is sent straight away; it does not appear in the agency's chatter.
- **How to stop it:** untick **Reminder** in the [agencies settings](agencies-settings), or leave **Reminder Template** empty.
