Tutorial 1

Your first attendance

Let people check in from the top bar, check in and out yourself, then find the attendance in the list and read what it records, from the times and the worked time to the mode.

How-to 6

Add or correct an attendance

Find the attendances that look wrong, correct a check-out by hand, type a forgotten day for an employee, and know the rules that refuse an attendance that overlaps another.

Use the kiosk

Turn a shared tablet into an attendance kiosk, choose how employees identify themselves, by badge, by name or with a PIN, and see what they see when they check in and out.

Set up overtime rules

Read the ruleset that comes with the app, create a ruleset of your own with a rule for work on non-working days, give it to employees, and compute past extra hours again.

Approve extra hours

Ask for a manager's approval of extra hours, read the extra hours of an attendance, then approve or refuse them from the Management list, one by one or several at a time.

Read attendance reports

Read the hours of a team by employee and by month, switch to a chart, compare each day with the expected hours in the Time Off Ledger, and find the hours of one employee.

Attendance settings

Every option of the Attendances settings, group by group, what each one changes for the people who check in and for the managers, and the two tolerances that the screen no longer shows.

Attendance automations

What Attendances does by itself: two scheduled jobs that close forgotten attendances and record missed days, the extra hours computed on every save, and the access right given to approvers.

Explanation 1

How attendance works

What an attendance records, the ways it is created, the rules that keep it consistent, how extra hours are computed and approved, who may do what, and what the app does not do.
