Tutorial 1

Your first project

Create a project, give it stages from a ready example, add a task with an assignee, a deadline and allocated time, log time on it, then move it to its next stage.

How-to 7

Organize tasks on the board

Read a project's board, add tasks quickly with keywords for time, assignee and priority, set the state of a task, change or share its stages, and sort your own work in My Tasks.

Sub-tasks, dependencies and recurring tasks

Switch on task dependencies and recurring tasks for a project, split a task into sub-tasks, say which tasks block another, and let a task come back on a schedule.

Milestones and project updates

Open a project's dashboard, follow its milestones and mark one as reached, then post a project update with a status and a progress that everyone following the project can read.

Share a project with a customer

Name the customer of a project, choose who may see it with its visibility, and invite the customer's people to follow or edit its tasks from the portal.

Log time on tasks

Record the time you spend, from a task's Timesheets tab or from the Timesheets app, follow the time left on a task, and know which lines are written for you.

Review time and progress

Read the time logged by project, task or employee, count the tasks of every project by stage, follow one project with its burndown chart, and find the customers' ratings.

Projects and timesheets settings

The options of the Project and Timesheets sections of the settings, what each one changes on screen, the access rights of both apps and the other configuration menus that complete them.

Explanation 1

How projects and timesheets work

What a project and a task hold, the difference between a stage and a state, how a timesheet line feeds the time and the cost of a project, who sees what, and what the two apps do not do.
