Customer invoices
Bill your clients: invoices and credit notes, the payments that settle them, a discount on the whole invoice, and one payment link that lets a client pay several unpaid invoices at once.
Tutorial 1
Your first invoice
Bill a client from start to finish. Create the invoice, add the service and its price, confirm it to give it a number, find how it is sent, then record the payment that marks it paid.
How-to 6
Record a customer payment
Register the money a client paid on the invoice it settles, choose the journal it arrived in, record a partial payment when only part of the amount came, and see the invoice turn Paid.
Issue a credit note
Cancel all or part of a confirmed invoice with a credit note, say why on the document, confirm it, and see how it settles the invoice; or reverse and reissue the invoice in one go.
Give a discount on an invoice
Take a percentage or a fixed amount off a whole draft invoice with Total Discount, see how it is spread over the lines, and give a discount on a single line instead.
One payment link for several invoices
Send a client one link that lists all their unpaid invoices and lets them pay the total online without signing in, then see what the client sees and what happens once they pay.
Send an invoice by e-mail
E-mail a confirmed invoice to the client with its PDF, check the recipient, the message and the template, and print the invoice in the format you need instead.
